What You'll Do

Work alongside the CodeLift team to build and improve internal tools using Claude Code. CodeLift applies lean methodology - you'll learn to eliminate waste, iterate quickly, and deliver value continuously.

  • Claude Code Skills Development: Create custom skills that extend Claude Code's capabilities for CodeLift-specific workflows.
  • Parallel & Continuous Processing: Build systems that enable multiple AI agents to work simultaneously, processing tasks in parallel for maximum efficiency.
  • Automation Scripts: Build scripts that automate repetitive tasks in Drupal migrations - data processing, testing, deployment.
  • Developer Tooling: Create CLI utilities, code generators, and workflow helpers that make the team faster.
  • Prompt Engineering: Develop and refine prompts to handle specific CodeLift workflows reliably.
  • Documentation: Document tools, processes, and learnings using lean documentation practices.

Who You Are

We're looking for someone with a problem-solving mindset who's excited to learn AI-assisted development. Your background matters less than your ability to think systematically and figure things out.

  • Problem-solver at heart: You enjoy debugging, breaking down complex problems, and finding elegant solutions.
  • Technical aptitude: Some programming experience (any language) or technical background - formal education not required.
  • Comfortable in the terminal: You're not scared of the command line - you see it as a powerful tool, not a barrier.
  • Own a MacBook: Our tooling is Mac-based; you'll need your own MacBook to work effectively.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English: You'll work with Dutch clients and English documentation/tools.
  • Curious about AI: Genuinely interested in how AI can augment software development.
  • Self-directed learner: Comfortable learning new tools and technologies independently.
  • Based in or near Utrecht: Able to work from our Utrecht office with hybrid flexibility.

Nice to have: Experience with Python, PHP, or JavaScript. Familiarity with Git and version control. Understanding of web development concepts.
