If you choose to stay with Drupal 7 after January 25, 2025, your website might not get new security updates. This could make it a bit harder to protect against new online threats. It's also important to keep up with laws that protect customer information, which might be more challenging. Additionally, using newer technology or features could become difficult. Keeping your website up-to-date helps maintain your customers' trust and ensures your website runs smoothly.

Migrating custom modules from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10 is possible but might require some extra development time to fit Drupal’s architecture and APIs.

To maintain your website’s search ranking during the transition, it's important to keep your URLs the same or use redirects if changes are needed. We recommend using our extensive regression test tooling that catches SEO-issue before the go-live.
